We said farewell to everyone in St. Legier and were returned by Emma to Dijon where we took the TGV to stay in Le Grande Hotel near the Opera in Paris. We explored the Louvre, saw the Mona Lisa with thousands of others, and marvelled at the greater crowd, the one following the story of Dan Brown's Davinci Code.
In the evening we persuaded Ann, Brendan and Ann's daughter Lucie to visit us at the hotel and enjoy Champagne and hors d'oeuvres before going out to sit opposite the Paris Opera for desert and a drink.
